Zoo Trip

This may just be my favorite picture of her yet.

Lauren and I took Madelyn to the zoo today.

Tone makes fun of my family for going to the zoo a couple times each summer. He says we're zoo freaks. Maybe we are, but judging by the looks of Madelyn's face I'd say she's going to be among us "freaks" who love the zoo.

Hired Help

I babysat Rachel and Kristen on Wednesday and in addition to helping me with Madelyn they decided to wash my windows and any other glass they could find! They also straightened my living room and helped me make cookies for Tony!!!

Vacation Part 1: Ocean City

We took Madelyn on her first beach vacation to Ocean City, MD. She had a very good time with her grandparents, Aunt Kate, and cousins Rachel and Kristen!!

Madelyn loved the sand and really liked swimming in the pool. She wasn't too sure about putting her feet in the ocean water, but she loved to watch the waves, saying "wawa! wawa!" over and over.

This photo shoot was incredibly difficlut to arrange! We only had about 3 minutes the entire trip that we could get them to sit still for a few pictures.

After a few days in Ocean City, we rode a ferry to meet my parents, Kevin, and the Scotts in New Jersey (we missed you, Laur!!) We were able to meet our new nephew, Harrison, who was born on Madelyn's birthday. He is ADORABLE!

Madelyn loved seeing her cousins, grandparents, aunt, and uncles. She ADORES her Aunt Abbey.

Highlight of the trip : MIXOLOGY "class" - AKA drinking with Abbey mid-afternoon with crazy middle-aged women, under the supervision of 2 clueless resort workers. Very fun time.
