Apologies and Updates

I have had a few complaints about the lack of updates. Sorry! May and June have been TOTALLY crazy, but things have finally settled. I'm done with school and I've enjoyed a whole week off. Madelyn and I are loving our time together. There are 11 new posts to look at!

Madelyn has been walking since mid to late April. She's now RUNNING all over the house. She is very busy and curious about the world. It's such a fun age! She is also trying to say many words. Of course my favorite is Mom-Mom. When she wakes up in the morning she looks over at me lovingly and quietly sighs "Mom-Mom". She's my little side-kick and has been following me around the house with kisses, hugs, and songs. I LOVE it!

She weighs about 22 pounds and is almost 30 inches tall. We see the eye doctor today to find out when her surgery will be to unblock her tear ducts and put tubes in her ears. We'll let you all know so you can say some prayers for her.

This little girly has about 6 phones to play with. She picks it up (or any other object she decides to use as a phone) and says "hello!" or "hiya!" And apparently I must say "yeah" when I'm on the phone because that's what she says over and over.

My parents moved about a week ago. We tried to put Madelyn in the pile of boxes to move, but she was not too pleased.

Madelyn LOVES dogs. Every time she sees one she shouts "DA!" and gets a big grin. This is Charlotte, our neighbors dog. She came to play with us one evening and Madelyn had soooo much fun.
